  Typical experience with UPS. Package is IN SPOKANE, it has been scanned, pursuant to their tracking info. Scheduled Delivery: December 19, 2016. Then, later in the day the status is updated to the typical, routine UPS excuse: "Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery. Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day." When talking to their so called "customer service", they were trying to tell me that the package hadn't even arrived, contrary to their own posted information. After I requested online that I pick up the package, they called initially telling me that I must be in an area with a lot of snow. When I argued that, they changed it to that it hasn't been removed from the trailer yet. UPS: Excuses, excuses, and unreliable service. Moving forward, I'm going USPS or FedEx. At least they deliver in any weather condition, and they strive to keep their customers happy.

  Won't deliver packages to an address just 100 feet off Seltice in Post Falls because of "an emergency situation or bad weather". When asked if the driver could meet me somewhere in town, their response was "We don't know which truck your package is on". Front line employees are nice but seem helpless so either the management or drivers need some revamping. Now I need to waste an hour + every time I get a UPS package to drive to Spokane and pick it up - what a joke.

  ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE - I was travelling to my parents' house for the holidays and had my package shipped there. It was supposed to arrive 12/22/16. By 12/24/16, the package still hadn't arrived, and Amazon sent me a notice that delivery was delayed. UPS tracking indicated delayed with no revised delivery date. I called UPS Spokane and waited on hold for 45 minutes, only to be told that their internal software indicated that the package was being held for pickup at their facility, though the tracking data did not indicate that. I was going to go pick it up, but they would not release the package to me because although it was my Amazon account and my order, my government-issued ID did not match my mother's name and address on the packing label. They said we had two options: 1.) Mom could come get it, but she lives over an hour from the UPS Spokane facility - NOT reasonable for Christmas Eve hosting folks at her own house, or 2.) the package delivery would be complete on 12/27/16. We opted to wait for delivery. After my phone call, the tracking data was updated to reflect the 12/27/16 delivery date. It is now 12/29/16, tracking data still shows that the estimated delivery date is 12/27/16, but also shows that the package is being held for pick-up. They will not redirect the package to my home, because I can't prove I'm me over the phone. So, Mom is going to have to make the 2+ hour round trip to go get this f'ing package, only to turn around and pay to have it shipped back across the state to me at my home address, since I'm no longer in Spokane. I'm filing a complaint here, with Amazon, directly with UPS customer service, and the Better Business Bureau.
